In the Bible, John 3:16-17, Jesus said, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him." God's greatest desire is to give us a better life today, as well as one that will begin once we leave this earth. Because of the transgression of Adam and Eve in the beginning, all human beings are born into the earth sinful and needing salvation. A very high price had to be paid to provide that salvation to you. Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, was literally nailed to a wooden cross, died and was buried. "But God showed how much He loved us by having Christ die for us, even though we were sinful." (Romans 5:8 CEV) Jesus died for you and for your sins. The good news is He did not stay dead! In three days, God raised Him from the dead and He ascended up to Heaven. He is now seated at the right hand of God. Because of this, Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Salvation.

"I am The Way, The Truth and The Life; No man comes to the unto the Father, but by Me." (John 14:6) Heaven has only one door and Jesus is it. Here is what the Bible says we must do to receive salvation.

"Because, if you say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and have faith in your heart that God has made Him come back from the dead you have salvation: For with the heart man has faith to get righteousness and with the mouth he says that Jesus is Lord to get salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 BBE)

It really isn't complicated, but it will require the utmost sincerity. If you are willing, pray this prayer aloud and believe it in your heart:

" Heavenly Father, I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son and that He died on the cross and was raised from the dead. I know that I have sinned and I am asking for Your forgiveness. I am willing to turn from my sins and receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Today, Lord, I receive everything you have for me. I also present myself completely to you. According to Your Word, I am saved; I am born again. Thank You for saving me, in Jesus' Name, Amen."

Congratulations, your new life has begun! This new life will be wonderfully exciting, if you closely follow Jesus. Here are some important tips for doing this:

1) Read your Bible every day. If you don't have one, get one.

2) Next, get in a strong local church. An uncompromising, Bible-believing church and naturally, we suggest our church, Turlock Believers Church.

3) Finally, tell somebody you have accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior! In fact, share it with as many people as you can!
